The R-PHA 11 range will once again expand from next March at HJC resellers with the arrival of a Replica version Andrea IANNONE, the Italian pilot newly helmeted by the Korean brand HJC and who officiates within of the Suzuki team until the end of the year, before joining the Aprilia team the following season.
In the meantime, HJC is preparing to market a Replica version of the decoration of Andrea IANNONE's helmet based on the R-PHA 11. This features a target on the top and a huge yellow number 29 on the back of the helmet , with a fluorescent yellow color. Note that a black version will also be offered this summer as well.
About the R-pha 11:
The R-pha 11 was designed from a completely new shell made with the new second generation PIM matrix. The PIM+ multifiber matrix is applied to a new profile Win'R, a design that gives pride of place to lightness and sportiness. The R-pha 11 moves upmarket in all respects: aerodynamics, acoustics, comfort, ventilation, finish, field of vision, safety.
First of all, aerodynamics, the shell is repositioned, oriented even further forward to better integrate behind the screen of the motorcycles, the result is a lowered chin guard, a screen enlarged by 5mm upwards so as not to have any discomfort. in the field of vision and an aerodynamically active rear spoiler.
Ventilation has also improved significantly with a completely revised system of internal channels. The air inlets on the chin and on the forehead have been enlarged (+30%) and an additional air intake at the forehead appears. The rear extractors are now hidden under the spoiler and supplemented by 2 additional outlets in a low position on the rear of the helmet. The addition of these two new additional outlets are the consequence of an (increased) incoming air flow requiring larger extractors. The main air intakes benefit from a new mechanism. By increasing the diameter of the wheels and providing them with a silicone band, grip and handling are easier and faster. The concealment of the air intakes is also improved with complete closure and sealing if necessary. Finally, the opening-closing by detent allows you to vary the incoming air flow.
The new R-pha 11 also introduces a new ventilation adjustment inside the chin guard. This internal helmet adjustment allows the air flow to be redirected either upwards (nose + screen) or downwards (mouth). All of this equipment makes ventilation the very strong point of the R-pha 11.
The 2D screen – larger as we said – receives a new Pinlock® MaxVision whose upper seal is hidden just under the helmet seal, favoring the quality of vision behind the screen when looking up in order to compensate for the position lying down. It benefits from a secure locking system. The central closing clip is supplemented on the R-pha 11 by a lock preventing accidental openings, such as when changing angle when the helmet accidentally comes into contact with the tank. The 2D screen is pre-equipped to receive tear-offs.
The interior support foams are also new. Density, construction, fixings and covering are unique and promote air circulation and moisture evacuation with a Multi-Cool treated fabric (antibacterial, antiperspirant and quick drying). The R-pha 11 also benefits from a safety system allowing the removal of cheek pads.
The nose deflector integrates into the air recycling system. It also helps with Pinlock® to prevent the screen from fogging. The cover under the chin guard provides good sealing and sound insulation with new fixings.
