La 800MT Explore pushes the limits of use of the flagship trail of the CFMOTO range, in particular to explore new horizons in off-road adventure use.
An upgraded base
After 800MT Sports, Then 800MT Touring, The Explore is the 3rd model in this Multi Touring range, trail segment from the manufacturer CFMOTO.
The Explore is based on the well-known 800MT Touring and benefits from even more advanced electronic equipment as standard. This equipment has an influence on the safety of the user and also offers extensive possibilities, particularly off-road.
The 800MT Explore is designed around a 790cc twin-cylinder engine with BOSCH electronic injection, powerful and flexible, with a cruise control as standard.
On this basis, the Explore benefits from new mapping increasing driving pleasure across the entire rev range. We also appreciate the presence of an up and down shifter to maximize the exploitation of the engine's potential.
On the chassis side, the entire 800MT Touring is taken over, from the spoked rims to the Kayaba suspensions always present with a quality of filtration favoring the general balance of the motorcycle both on the road and on trails.
Braking is still entrusted to J. Juan elements and an ABS with an inertial unit refines reactions and pushes performance to the maximum angle. A considerable advantage for sporting conditions on tarmac, but also off-road (we will see with the different modes).
We note the series installation of Michelin Anakee Adventure tires with a more mixed profile to encourage off-road developments!
