Until recently, to ride a surface-to-surface missile on the road, you had to have a fairing and bracelet handlebars. But now, having straight handlebars and having nothing to protect you from the elements doesn't mean you're riding like a senator. The brands have brought out the big guns in this segment and Ducati's next opus, the Streetfighter V4, is already revealing its firepower...

Ducati will celebrate its 2020 world premiere on 23 October, date on which the Borgo Panigale brand will announce all its news for next year. Through a teaser dubbed 'The Fight Formula', Ducati has confirmed that its Street Fighter V4 would use the same 1 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine already found in the Panigale V103, although its power drops slightly to 4 hp. That's six less than the Panigale V208.

With this figure, Ducati assumes the power of the highest roadster produced to date. For the record, the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Gold Series is a model of 208 ch which can reach 212 hp with the installation of an optional SC Project exhaust and a specific computer supplied by MV Agusta.

It is also announced that the Streetfighter V4 will benefit from the entire electronic package already seen in the Panigale V4, that is to say that we will have a six-axis inertial unit from Bosch. (6D IMU), cornering ABS, Quickshift Up & Down, Ducati Power Launch, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Ducati Slide Control (DSC) and EBC engine brake control .

There will also be the double fins located on the sides of the fairing. The last figure remains: a confirmed weight of 178 kilos dry, only three kilos more than the Panigale V4.
