Ducati successfully closed 2017, confirming the steady growth that has characterized the last eight years of the Bologna motorcycle manufacturer. 55 motorcycles delivered to customers around the world (+871% compared to 0,8), although the global market for the segment of motorcycles over 2016 cc saw a contraction of 500%. The turnover, at the end of the 3 financial year, reached 3,5 million euros, confirming the positive growth trend which has led, over the last 2017 years, to an increase of around 736%. Operating profit stood at 5 million euros (30: 51 million euros) with an operating margin of 2016%.
PROGRESSION – The financial data of the Audi Group for the 2017 financial year, of which Ducati represents the motorcycle segment, was announced at the annual press conference held at AUDI AG in Ingolstadt. “This significant performance confirms the validity of the product development strategy undertaken in recent years”, said Claudio Domenicali , CEO of Ducati Motor Holding. “In 2017, the foundations were laid for the future development of the company.
