A new livery for the Monster 1200 S will arrive in Ducati dealerships next October. The glossy and matte black program includes an Öhlins shock absorber, radial-mount calipers from Brembo and Y-shaped rims.

While waiting for the new 2020 products promised for October 23, Ducati is unveiling a specific version of its Monster 1200 S. The roadster will be dressed next year in black, mixing glossy and matte paint.
Black is the dress code for this Black on Black version which does not shy away from the emblematic red of the Borgo Panigale brand. Red which can be found in particular on one of the Y-shaped branches of the rims, the saddle stitching or even on the tank stickers. This 2020 version looks like a bad boy, proving the naughty side of the legendary transalpine roadster which made its debut in 1993.

Today, in its latest evolution, the Monster 1200S relies on a Testastretta 11° DS twin-cylinder delivering some 147 horsepower at 9 rpm (in its 2020 version). In this S version, Öhlins designs the shock absorbers (all fully adjustable) with a 48 mm Öhlins fork while Brembo is in charge of braking with at the front two 330 mm discs clamped by Brembo M50 monobloc calipers, three-spoke Y-shaped rims, a carbon fiber front mudguard carbon, a front headlight characterized by the DRL (Daytime Running Light) and LED indicators without forgetting an up/down shifter offered as standard.

Priced at 17 euros including public tax, this Black on Black livery is joined by a red version. Availability: October 790
