Dunlop intends to “change the rules of the game” with its new SportSmart MK3 sports tire. Oriented more on the road than on the track, the MK3 is intended to be uncompromising neither in the dry nor in the wet, all with a long lifespan.

Dunlop is not idle with, for 2019, a fifth new product in the hypersport segment in two years. Successor to the SportSmart2 Max, the SportSmart MK3 intends to make a name for itself thanks to its road performance but also its longevity. Dunlop draws a rubber more road (90%) than track (10%) even if the latter will not hesitate to put beginners on the track in order to familiarize themselves with the world of track days.
With latest generation technology, this MK3 relies on a multi-compound design with a new mix of components (we will highlight the presence of silica with a large coverage surface), a new tread design or the design process of the DFF front tire (Dynamic Front Formula) making it possible to reduce the effort on the handlebars while having better feedback and greater maneuverability... In short, three points which allow the rider to ride with confidence. And this is the main idea of ​​this new product which also announces a bonus of 20% grip in the dry and 23 points better in the wet compared to its elder SportSmart2 Max.

The most road-friendly Dunlop in the segment, in short, but also the most versatile on a daily basis and perhaps even the safest...
