The new CBR1000 RR-R is one of the current stars of the new surface-to-surface missiles. Honda has created a high-flying sports car whose aim is simple: to bring everyone together. The latest CBR1000RR-R Fireblade is one of the star machines of the last Milan show. The heart of the Japanese, a 999,7 cm3 in-line four-cylinder with supersquare fundamental dimensions identical to the RC213V promising the “trifle” of 160 kW at 14 rpm, or a little more than 500 horsepower for 217 kilos (in operating order)… in short, a weapon listing the best currently available using noble materials such as titanium present in particular in the connecting rods and caps while the connecting rod ends are made of berylium copper.
Honda is launching a recall campaign on its latest Fireblade in all countries where it is sold. The triple R is therefore returning to dealerships due to weak connecting rods which could lead to engine failure. This breakage can occur during intensive use but also in road mode…
