According to some rumors from Japan, Honda would spend his days and nights thinking about a CB1100X who shouldAfrica Twin to come to life. The parallel twin of the trail would thus be appropriate, with a character of 1cc undoubtedly revised for the needs of the cause.

Japan's leading motorcycle magazine AutoBy even shows images of it, thus revealing the half-fairing which makes such a difference in use. So here we are, facing a new twin-cylinder GT on the way. The styling of the new crossover would be in line with other models of the X family, which, however, featured a four-cylinder engine.

Horizon 2022 for a CB1100X?

It will be recalled that the patents filed by the Japanese company in March revealed two new chassis models built around the engine african twin : one was much like the CB1000R four-cylinder chassis, while the other was a trellis chassis. One of the two could be intended for CB1100X.

In terms of styling, AutoBy's renderings show a motorcycle that also takes inspiration from the CB125X presented two years ago. We detect the same angular shapes, but obviously more voluminous. According to AutoBy sources, the debut of this model should be planned for 2022…
