After'annual tribute paid on the Misano circuit in the presence of Shoya Tomizawa's mother, the CIP team continues to perpetuate the memory of the late Japanese driver by mentally and financially dedicating a day of driving to him on the Alès circuit on October 6.

Shoya Tomizawa Day

In 2018, the CIP is organizing the Shoya's day in homage to its pilot Shoya Tomizawa.

Participants separated into 3 level groups will be able to experience a day of discovery or more sporty on a closed circuit, alongside a professional team, to have fun in complete safety!

Come refine your riding and improve your performance, perfect the control of your motorcycle and gain confidence!

All profits from the day will be donated to the Tomizawa association to help young Japanese pilots.

The rider, Shoya Tomizawa, made MotoGP history. Indeed, in 2010, he won the first Grand Prix in the history of Moto1 for the first Grand Prix in the history of Qatar.

Equipment

To participate in the CIP days you must wear safety equipment consistent with the practice of speed motorcycling on the circuit: Approved helmet / Boots / Gloves / 1 piece or 2 piece leather outfit / Back protection.

Your motorcycle must respect the technical restrictions of the Mechanical Center, particularly in terms of noise level because it must not exceed 100 decibels during the week and 95 decibels on weekends and public holidays.

For those who wish, it is possible to rent the following equipment by reservation:

  • Honda 600 CBR motorcycle in Team CIP colors, Suzuki 650 SV, Yamaha 125 YZF.
  • Pilot Equipment (Boots, Suit, Back)

Insurances

We advise you during your track day:

  • to be covered by an annual license from the French Motorcycle Federation (FFM license information). For more information, contact Moto Club FAST48 on [email protected]
  • Or subscribe to a FFM CIRCUIT PASS, which is a very easy to access federal title, offered by the FFM and which gives amateur drivers the opportunity to drive on circuits while being properly insured – 2 types of PASS are offered: 1 PASS including Civil Liability + 1 Individual accident (39€/day)/ or 1 ECO PASS including only Civil Liability (18€/day):  Subscribe to an FFM Circuit Pass
