What if, at Kawasaki, we soon released a breathtaking custom turbo? The Akashi manufacturer has in fact adopted the option of supercharging on its production motorcycles for a while. A technical choice that we owe to the good H2 family. Meanwhile, his compatriots and nevertheless competitors continue to work theoretically on the subject. But at Kawasaki, the practical work continues to such an extent that a supercharged custom would be under study. Its name would be Eliminator H2. Enough to eliminate the adversity present on the market...

Kawasaki will he make us happy to offer us a custom in his dealerships Eliminator H2 ? Some believe it, starting with the essential magazine Young machine which sets the pace in Japan for hopes for future models from the land of the rising sun. And to do it well, the media does not hesitate to share a sketch which inevitably arouses curiosity.

Kawasaki has what it takes to bring out a beautiful beast for us

The engine would be revised and supercharged to deliver around 180 hp, more than enough power for arm-lengthening acceleration. At this stage we speak “ powercruiser », a real dragster with a tubular frame and the marvelous turbocharged four-cylinder presented by Kawasaki in 2014.

To transform the project H2 As a cruiser, the bike has been modified in every part, with the lowered fuel tank meeting an equally low seat and slightly more central footpegs. The aesthetic, emitted by the graphics of Young Machine, includes a short and imposing rear part with a front dominated by a square windscreen, in the pure style of the 60s/70s.

If aesthetically the doubts remain numerous, from a technical point of view we can venture with some certainties. The framework, in fact, although modified, should take up that of the Z H2, made more adapted to the vocation of the motorcycle by working on softer and more comfortable suspension settings. The same goes for the engine which will be refined to “remove” a few horses at the top, taking it from around 200 HP in H2 configuration to 175/180, more than enough to enable thrilling acceleration and ensure primacy in the category among the most powerful motorcycles on the market.

When will we see this custom? The most likely answer is 2022, but Kawasaki cannot also anticipate by presenting this motorcycle from mid-2021. It may as well remain as a never-realized dream...
