We dreamed of this RC8C for all and KTM decided to offer it to us on the basis of the 890 Duke. The characteristics are still to be defined, however, we can bet without taking any risk on the presence of the LC8 engine from 121 CV and 99 Nm of torque. The Mattighofen manufacturer has decided not to reuse the initials RC for this model, thus leaving exclusivity to the RC 390 and precisely to the limited series RC8C. The Austrians' idea is to strengthen the brand image of the Duke.
KTM prepares for a big month of February
Before being able to admire the GP in its final form, KTM will lift the veil on the new KTM 890 Duke R 2022, the 7 February, two weeks before the GP. The evolution should be marginal because the current model already has advanced electronics, a record weight for the category and performances that put it at the top of its category.
The month of February therefore promises to be rich for KTM which after the new KTM 1290 Super Duke GT and the 1290 Super Duke EVO aims to renew the entire “naked” range. Not to mention that, during this time, the competition department will be mobilized on the machine intended for MotoGP...
