Since 2005, the Italian media Motociclismo has organized the competition for the most beautiful motorcycle at the show at the EICMA. Participants and readers of the magazine vote to elect their favorite motorcycle during the 4 opening days of the show. This year, the MV Agusta Superveloce Ago special edition won first prize.

The Superveloce Ago enjoyed a comfortable margin to win in 2021, with no less than 47,2% of the votes. The Aprilia Touareg ranks second with only 19,4% while the Moto Morini X-Cape completes the podium with 7,9% of the votes. The rest of the list consisted of Honda NT1100, Triumph Speed Twin, Kawasaki Z650RS, Benelli Leoncino 800 Trail, Fantic 450 Rally, Royal Enfield 450 and SWM Six Days 500.

While the top ten contains 10 different manufacturers, an Italian-designed vehicle emerges as the winner. In the 16 years Motociclismo has hosted the competition, only Ducati and MV Agusta have won the Most Beautiful Motorcycle title. MV won the first competition in 2005 with the Brutale 910 R, regained the crown in 2007 with the Brutale 1078RR and took a third victory with the F3 in 2010. In 2012, the Rivale 800 dominated the bicycle beauty competition and the Brutale 1000 Serio Oro scored a fifth victory for the Schiranna factory.

“For us it is another great recognition and further confirmation of the energy and resources that MV Agusta devotes to the constant development of new products,” said MV Agusta CEO Timur Sardarov. “Having won this important competition for the sixth time is a great satisfaction for all of us. I want to dedicate this victory to all our employees who put incredible passion into their work every day. »

MV Agusta Design Director Alessandro Malaspina, Marketing Director Filippo Bassolini, CEO Timur Sardarov and world champion Giacomo Agostini himself received the award from EICMA organizers and Motociclismo officials.
