After the production electric sports car, then the Cyber Truck, Tesla could well surprise us with an electric motorcycle with a resolutely futuristic look. Ash Thorpe, a Californian designer, imagines what a Tesla motorcycle might look like if the company ever decided to build one. Developed in collaboration with Carlos Colorsponge, the new concept is nicknamed “The Sokudo”. This machine could be the two-wheeled version of the Cyber Truck, with a futuristic look and a design all its own. We like it, or we don't like it.

It seems the designers went for a cyberpunk or Cyber Truck type design with this concept. Ash Thorpe also drives a Tesla, which inspired him to create this concept, although he doesn't drive a two-wheeler himself. This would explain several questionable things about the design.

The motorcycle, well the two-wheeled machine, appears to use a significant amount of carbon fiber and has an aluminum frame. There's also plenty of other equipment available such as Michelin Slicks, as well as an extremely large front brake disc. One might wonder where the swingarm is located, which is not easy to see in these images.

However, it is a concept that seems very far from a futuristic production model: the saddle seems unsuitable for classic use, and the footrests are arranged in a strange way. Not to mention that there is no ground clearance on this two-wheeler, the carbon fiber fairing may not be appreciated. More than a concept, it's actually an interesting interpretation of Tesla design on two wheels.

It could be a few years before the innovative brand in terms of electric mobility launches into the world of two wheels. However, with a few tweaks, a Tesla electric motorcycle could be very interesting, if some of the elements of this concept could be adapted to a real rider and not a robot.
