On the Michelin stand at the Milan show there were a number of new products including four ranges of sports tires ranging from Power 5 to Power Slick2, oriented respectively from road use to 100% circuit use. Introducing the Power 5.
In France, the Power name is an offer dedicated to the sensation, performance and pleasure behind the handlebars of your motorcycle whether you ride on the road or on the track. For 2020, the Clermontois is arriving in Italy with many new products including this Power 5, an approved tire designed for intensive use on the road while being capable of giving a change when driving on the track, track days style. Replacing the Power RS, let's hope that this Power 5 will appeal to us more than its predecessor, especially over the miles. Impressive during the first 2000 km, its performance subsequently melted like snow in the sun. In short, Michelin offers here a new accessory with the following characteristics
– innovative rubber compound incorporating silica and carbon black
– compound 2CT at the front and 2CT+ at the rear… in short, dual rubber
– notch rate of 11% front and rear
– new design and sides benefiting from Premier Touch Technology*
