Moto Guzzi made waves in sport-touring by introducing its V100 Mandello in November 2021. After causing such a stir, the Italian brand kept the details under wraps for almost a year. Now, it looks like Moto Guzzi is finally ready to launch the V100 after announcing the model's European pricing and availability.

The Mandello Del Lario-based factory launched its Moto Guzzi World Days 2022 festival in early September, where the guest of honor was the V100 Mandello. After the event, Moto Guzzi opened Italian pre-orders starting September 12, 2022. As expected, the V100 will be available in a base model and a higher-performance S version.

Both variants will benefit from the liquid-cooled transverse V-twin engine with a displacement of 1042 cc. This new engine develops 115 hp and 105 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful engine in the Moto Guzzi catalog.

An 11MP Marelli ECU helps manage that power, with four riding modes (Travel, Sport, Rain and Highway), while a six-axis IMU handles multi-level traction control and lean-sensitive ABS . All this is of course adjustable via the five-inch TFT screen. The innovation doesn't stop there either, as the V100 is about to launch the first adaptive aerodynamic system with tank-mounted deflectors.

In addition to this impressive package, the S model adds Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension, a quickshift system, heated grips and Moto Guzzi's MIA multimedia platform. The S version will be available in premium paint options Verde 2121 and Grigio Avangiuardia and will cost €18. The standard V249 Mandello, on the other hand, will cost just €100. Moto Guzzi will offer the base model in Polar White and Magna Red colors.
