MV Agusta

On October 23, 2021, during the Emilia Romagna GP in Misano, MV Agusta officially unveiled in the presence of Giacomo Agostini the Superveloce Ago, a limited edition of 311 examples, in reference to Agostini's number of Grand Prix victories. Yet another limited edition, after the Alpine special series, which appeared at the end of last year.

The Superveloce Ago will only be available in three colors: Matt Fire Red, Matt SV Ago Magnum Silver and finally Matt Ago Yellow, which echoes the gold color of the Ohlins fork.

The Superveloce Ago will be produced in just 311 units, one for each of the champion's racing victories, with the first 15 dedicated to the world titles won by Ago, a record that remains undefeated. To mark the occasion, these first 15 models will be delivered with a carbon fiber plate and a leather strap on the tank. Each of these first 15 units will represent a world championship year, with the year inscribed on the plaque.

For the rest, the Ago Edition builds on the basis of the Superveloce S with some improvements in terms of equipment. Brembo brakes, Continental ABS, 3 engine maps, eight levels of traction control and electronic shifter 3.0 are all included. Aesthetically, the motorcycle is flanked by the yellow number 1, “Ago” logos and a pilot’s signature on the tank. A certificate of authenticity is obviously given during the sale.

All of the fairings are made of carbon fiber panels, whether for the seat shell, the mudguards or the swingarm protection. The beauty is also equipped with an approved asymmetrical Arrow exhaust, with two outlets on the right side and only one on the left side. The chassis part is not left out with the use of new Öhlins suspensions with an inverted NIX fork, a TTX shock absorber and a steering damper fixed on the forged upper triple crown.

An optional Racing Kit is also available, consisting of a triple Arrow silencer approved for the road, specific engine mapping for the track, a leather tank strap with its appropriate cap, red handles and even protections. aluminum for the footrests.

Price-wise, this Ago limited edition will be available at a price of €31.500, undoubtedly the price of exclusivity.
