Based on the SR/F roadster, Zero Motorcycles presents the SR/S, a faired machine capable of offering more comfort. The American promises a range of up to 259 km (urban environment to go up to 323 km with the optional Power Tank). 110 horsepower and a speed of 200 km/h.
Engine and chassis characteristics identical to the SR/F but it is at the category level that the new Zero Motorcycles stands out. If we find a power of 110 horsepower for a torque of 190 Nm and a tubular chassis and a concentric swinging arm, the exterior changes completely with now a faired motorcycle offering driving comfort in particular thanks to the footrests which migrate downwards while the handlebars move back and up to provide a more natural position.
Wider seat, protective fairing for solo or duo rides (large passenger handles) which will not take you to the osteopath.
The Californian announces a range of 132 km, 175 km on a mixed circuit and 259 if you stay in town. The Z-Force lithium-ion battery will be recharged in 1 hour (Premium version with fast charge option) to 4 hours for a standard version.
On the electronic side, the Zero is entitled to the latest technologies such as ABS in curves, anti-skid, 4 driving modes (Street, Sport, Rain and Eco) without forgetting 10 configurable modes, a control of MSC stability made in Bosch. Cyber III operating system, “Find My Bike” functionality (aimed at visualizing the battery level as well as various data such as geolocation, angle, etc.) will be on the program.
