Recognizable with its red elements, an R version arrives in the Street Triple range. Triumph is taking the opportunity to lower its price which is now below 10 euros.

Excellent news for Street Triple fans since Triumph is lowering the price of its R version. Priced at 9 euros, the English model unsurprisingly takes up the design of the RS and S, thus benefiting from a new front end with LED lighting, a revamped wind screen, new air inlets, a new rear buckle, a compact silencer, revised style mirrors allowing for better adjustments.

New for 2020 refines its look with Diablo Red stickers, red which can be found in particular on the rear sub-frame or even red edging... painted by hand. Meeting the Euro5 anti-pollution standard, the 765 cc three-cylinder promises a power of 3 horsepower and a torque of 118 N m. The instrumentation is left to an LCD screen from the S version.

On the equipment side, Triumph trusts Brembo which provides braking with, at the front, 4-piston radial calipers of the M4.32 type pinching 310 mm discs (220 mm for the rear with single piston caliper) , Showa is responsible for the fork (41mm SF-BPF inverted) and rear shock, both fully adjustable. The Pirelli Diablo Rosso III will be chosen as original equipment. Note the presence, as standard, of an up&down shifter, three driving modes (road, rain and sport, rain mode limiting power to 100 hp), ABS, anti-skid, etc.

An LRH version (understand Low Ride Height) is also in the catalog. The latter stands out with specific suspensions for a seat 45 mm lower, a revised saddle which peaks, in this version, at 780 mm.
