Brembo presents an exclusive novelty: Stylema®, the new brake caliper exclusive for the Ducati Panigale V4.
TECHNOLOGY
If we compare Stylema® to the calipers that preceded it, it has been refined at the level of the pistons and pads, reducing the interior spaces occupied by the brake fluid, in order to make it more responsive.
The weight has been reduced by around 7%, thanks to the reduction in external dimensions and height, hence the use of 5mm shorter fixing screws.
Reductions which do not affect rigidity in any way, since all key sections have been redefined and the layout of the outer bridges has been modified to now guarantee a more direct connection to the piston seats.
By reinforcing the air flow around the pads, Stylema® cools in record time, thanks to the increase in passage areas around the pistons with radiator and an opening for the air outlet on the central bridge.
DESIGN
The shape contributes to the objective of reducing mass by eliminating every superfluous gram.
The two raised ribs are structural and design elements that give dynamism and visual robustness to the product and define an ideal space in which to mount the Brembo logo.
The air intake, a central element connecting to the upper rib thanks to the two edges, makes the design of the caliper more aggressive and sharp.
