Vespa has always been synonymous with innovation and exclusivity. Through its different models, the Italian brand has partnered with different artists to reach a wider audience and also to offer exclusive finishes. This is because Vespa has always been characterized by its standards of quality, design and performance. In this sense, Vespa has taken collaborations to the next level after announcing its partnership with music star Justin Bieber.
After Giorgio Armani, Christian Dior, Salvador Dalì, it is now Justin Bieber who will have “his” Vespa. The model designed by the pop star will be presented in February 2022 after the agreement signed between the Piaggio group and the world-famous Canadian singer, musician and actor. “I’m excited to be able to reinterpret the iconic Vespa design,” explained Justin Bieber who will customize his Vespa exactly as fashion and art icons have done in the past. In 1962, it was Salvador Dalì who wanted to hand-decorate the Vespa with which two young Spaniards were going on tour from Madrid to Athens, a copy that has become legendary, the dream of every collector and so precious that it is preserved today at the Piaggio Museum in Pontedera.
“My fans know how much I love sport: scootering, hockey, basketball, BMX. I have always been attracted to this combination of style, elegance and speed,” said Justin Bieber. For now, that's all we know. We will have to wait until early 2022 to know what will come of the collaboration between the two. A Vespa Primavera? A GTS 125? An Elettrica?
