Yamaha gave everyone the opportunity to revamp the XSR700 through a customization competition. The project Back to the drawing board  spoke: Barbara Motorcycle and her XSR700 “Disruptive” made the cut. Flat Track will be presented at the beginning of June in Biarritz during the next Wheels&Waves.

30 projects, one winner. After deliberation by the jury, it was one of Barbara Motorcycle's proposals that won the prize with its Disruptive, a motorcycle signed Benoit Goddet, inspired by the Flat Track Yamaha of the 1970s.
An attractive motorcycle which will make its first appearance at the next Wheeles&Waves alongside seven other Yamaha Yard Built from other European countries.

Of the 30 proposals, we were particularly seduced by the ADV700 inspired by the legendary TDR and remained questionable when faced with others…

For the record, the jury for this 2020 style exercise consisted of three members: François Tarrou (marketing director at Yamaha), Julien Chassagne (journalist for The Good Life) and the preparer Bad Winners. The latter's mission is now to move from design to production.
