The countdown to World Ducati Week 2018 has begun. The largest international Ducati gathering, which will be held from July 20 to 22 at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”, will attract thousands of Ducati motorcyclists for a peaceful invasion of the Italian Adriatic coast.
Preparations for this unique and exciting event are in full swing and the official Ducati riders have already confirmed their presence to meet their fans and share their passion with them on the track and in the paddock of the Misano circuit, but also during the many planned activities for the WDW2018 in different locations on the Riviera Romagnola.
Andrea Dovizioso et Jorge Lorenzo were among the first to confirm their presence. The two official Ducati MotoGP Team riders are just two from a rich list of champions, making WDW2018 even more exciting. There will be many celebrities from the past, including Casey Stoner, Troy Bayliss et Carlos Checa, who won important championship titles in MotoGP and SBK with Ducati. Michele Pirro, official Ducati test rider and now also undisputed leader of the CIV (Italian Speed Championship), will also be there.
The Alma Pramac Racing Team will be just as present with Danilo Petrucci et Jack Miller, as well as other private pilots such as Tito Rabat, Xavier Simeon, Alvaro Bautista et Karel Abraham for MotoGP, Xavi Fores et Lorenzo Zanetti for the SBK.
Question SBK, we won't miss the riders of the Aruba.it Racing-Ducati Team, Chaz Davies et Marco Melandri, who are currently competing in the Superbike championship. With them, Michael Ruben Rinaldi, the new addition to the team, and Superstock 1000 Champion with Ducati in 2017.
In short, a great celebration in perspective for all Ducatisti, which the location in time and space should make even more attractive...
