The next British Grand Prix will have a particular flavor for the Triumph brand which will then be ahead of its compatriots. The Hinckley brand will also make a point of delighting its fans around the world by ostentatiously celebrating its involvement in the Moto2 category. Its three cylinders are in fact the daily life of this MotoGP antechamber. A sporty Daytona 765 will thus enter its range, properly equipped with the three cylinders in question. Triumph already had officially announced its presentation at the next British Grand Prix, August 23. But new photos have appeared which already allow us to guess how the news Daytona 765 equipped with the three-cylinder “Moto2” will be. It will first be manufactured in very small series
Here are the latest signed photos of the beast which confirm all the rumors about the model. According to the images, the British super sports car should have high-level features: there will be suspensions Öhlins, radial calipers Brembo Stylema and exhausts Arrow , also derived from Moto2 prototypes, just like the three-cylinder from 138 hp. Unsurprisingly, the logo Moto2 will appear on the rear of the motorcycle and on the TFT dashboard welcome message, making the news Daytona the first motorcycle officially from a championship.
The new high definition TFT dashboard complete with a “joystick” controller allows you to predict a resolutely developed electronic part: the possibility of choosing between different modes, perhaps Rain, Road, Sport and Track and maybe even another, customizable by the user. Along with a six-axis IMU platform, there would also be ABS Cornering, a traction control system and the bi-directional quickshifter.
The presence of the Swedish mono TTX should confirm the fact that there will be no semi-active suspension but it cannot be excluded that this accessory appears as an option. The first series of the 765 will be produced in 765 copies intended for the European market and the American market.
