Triumph has revealed the first images of the new Speed Triple 1200 RS in a teaser last week, and since then the first technical information has been found in a British brochure.
Triumph takes the new Speed seriously, much more than we could have imagined. Where the previous generation Speed Triple and Speed Triple RS relied mainly on their style and image, Triumph has now raised the bar much higher, which means extra power and a lighter bike.
In the photo that the Belgian site Maxxmoto revealed, we could already see the first hints about a more complete electronic package, but we also know the power figure. The Triple will deliver 180 hp at 10750 rpm and 125 Nm of torque at 9 rpm. In addition, it seems that the motorcycle weighs 000 kg less than the previous one!
