Triumph offers its new Bonneville range

Triumph presented its Bonneville range, a historic name for the Hinckley brand. Like the wonders of the world, there are seven of them and they have survived the vintages without aging. The Triumphs Bonneville 2021 are there, populating the Classic family of the brand Hinckley who made sure to bring it up to date. The new standards Euro 5 push brands to renew their entire range, a truly titanic effort, and even more so during a pandemic. Triumph was no exception to the rule and also made a big effort. Proof of this is this renewal of its family of retro models, the Classic family, made up of roadster and custom models.

So, after reading the Speed ​​Triple 1200 2021, the Bonneville T100 and T120/Black, Street Twin, Speedmaster and Bobber are updated, while the limited edition Street Twin Gold Line is launched. All the opus benefit from the essential parallel twin with a capacity between 900 and 1 cm200.

Triumph knows how to take care of its Bonneville heritage...

Let's start with Bonneville T120 / Black, which aims to be the high-end retro roadster. In addition to new finishes and new aesthetic details, including a saddle with white trim and printed logo, matte black components, the model claims 7 kg less) to be even more manageable. There are Brembo front brake calipers and the versions are equipped with cruise control as standard.

The road and rain driving mode software is also included. As for its parallel twin-cylinder HT engine -4T, LC, 8V, DOHC, IE- 1.200 cm3, it now meets Euro 5 standards, delivers 80 hp and reduces its consumption and emissions, in addition to having a lighter crankshaft which makes it rotate with less inertia. The opuses will be available in April at a price of 12 euros.

In the Bonneville T100, base of the classic 100% retro naked, the weight is reduced by 4 and it incorporates a new cartridge fork. There too we find front brakes with Brembo calipers. It also reviews its aesthetics and finishes with more chrome trim. The engine is decorated in black and the analog instrumentation with a small LCD screen has a new background.

As for its 900 cm3 parallel twin HT twin-cylinder engine -4T, LC, 8V, DOHC, IE- it receives the Euro 5 treatment and gains 10 hp. It turns 500 rpm higher and is intended to be more dynamic, remaining at 65 ch. It is also available in a reduced power version for the A2. Available in March for 11 euros.

The neo-retro designed for the A2, the Street twin, also receives changes, such as a saddle with greater foam, a plus of 10 mm, and increased comfort with a distance to the ground of 765 mm. We note new alloy wheels with machined details, brushed metal, plus Brembo front brake calipers. It incorporates an LED rear light, disconnectable traction control and the 900 cc twin-cylinder -4T, LC, 8V, DOHC, IE engine of 65 CV, Euro 5 version. Its consumption and emissions are reduced. Also available in a version for the A2 card. On sale in March at a price of 9 euros.

Finally, Triumph is launching a special version limited to 1 copies, with the Street Twin Gold Line Limited Edition, offering better finishes, exclusive decoration with handmade golden nets and a certificate of authenticity. Available in May at a price of 9 euros.

The cruisers Bonneville Speedmasters, also upgrades its 1 cc twin-cylinder engine to Euro 200 and offers 78 ch reducing its emissions and consumption. In addition to receiving an aesthetic touch-up in its instrumentation, it integrates full LED lighting, a 47 mm Showa cartridge fork, and a more comfortable saddle for the rider and passenger, with lumbar support and 11 mm more foam for the passenger. Available in March at a price of 14 euros.

Triumph: the Bobber is the ugly daughter of the Bonneville

The most radical retro custom in the Bonneville range is the single-seater bobber , which also receives the Euro 5 treatment on its 1200 cc parallel twin HT engine -3T, LC, 4V, DOHC, IE. With this, its consumption and emissions are reduced, and it also runs with less inertia, thanks to its lightweight crankshaft engine. Its power is now 78 ch. It incorporates a larger capacity tank, 12 liters, thanks to which its autonomy increases by 33%.

It also features Brembo front brake calipers, a 47mm Showa cartridge fork and a new, wider 16-inch front rim. The engine is decorated in black, the analog instrumentation with a small LCD screen receives a new background and the aesthetics have been revised. And its lighting is entirely LED. Available in April at a price of 14 euros.
