The former Italian World Champion (in 1987 in the TTF1 category), vice-World Champion 500 cm3 in 1979 on a Suzuki from the Gallina team, then moved to World Superbike with Honda, before riding for Ducati, then become the team manager in WSBK until 1998 when Davide Tardozzi succeeded him.

Virginio is now a dealer MV Agusta in the principality of Monaco, and owner of magnificent land overlooking the port city. Recently, MV Agusta's lead designer Adrian Morton left the Italian manufacturer, which wanted to restructure its activities in terms of customizing its motorcycles.

The Studio comes from the MV Agusta dealership, established for a long time in Monaco, which is aimed at the very particular, wealthy and international clientele of the Principality. It offers, according to MV, “ complete customization of the brand's most prestigious models, creating unique pieces of motorcycling art for the exclusive pleasure of their proud and passionate owners. »

Virginio Ferrari, founder and owner of the Studio, has a long history of friendship and collaboration with MV Agusta. In 1994 he created Virginio Ferrari Racing, which in 1998 became the official importer of MV Agusta in the Principality, and now also in the neighboring department of Alpes Maritimes.

Supporting Ferrari from the start, engineer Kazuhito Shimizu was the brand's technical referent in France. Designer Alexandre Dauly joined the group in 2013.

Timur Sardarov, CEO of MV Agusta Motor SpA, said: “If there was to be anywhere to advance the prestige and exclusivity of MV Agusta, it had to be Monaco, and Virginio Ferrari had to be the man at the helm. The launch of the Monaco Design Studio is just the official recognition of Virginio's extraordinary work over the years. He and his team deserve every success in this exclusive business. »

Virginio Ferrari, founder and owner of Monaco Design Studio, said: “In the mind of every motorcyclist, we find a desire to personalize their motorcycle, so that it comes even closer to their absolute ideal. More than a hundred unique MV Agusta that we have prepared for clients from all walks of life under the direction of our designer Alexandre Dauly, have proven us right. »
