The former Italian World Champion (in 1987 in the TTF1 category), vice-World Champion 500 cm3 in 1979 on a Suzuki from the Gallina team, then moved to World Superbike with Honda, before riding for Ducati, then become the team manager in WSBK until 1998 when Davide Tardozzi succeeded him.
Virginio is now a dealer MV Agusta in the principality of Monaco, and owner of magnificent land overlooking the port city. Recently, MV Agusta's lead designer Adrian Morton left the Italian manufacturer, which wanted to restructure its activities in terms of customizing its motorcycles.

Virginio Ferrari, founder and owner of the Studio, has a long history of friendship and collaboration with MV Agusta. In 1994 he created Virginio Ferrari Racing, which in 1998 became the official importer of MV Agusta in the Principality, and now also in the neighboring department of Alpes Maritimes.
Supporting Ferrari from the start, engineer Kazuhito Shimizu was the brand's technical referent in France. Designer Alexandre Dauly joined the group in 2013.
