It's the return ofEurope Endurance Classic ! This support race, very popular with fans, returns once again for the Sunday Ride Classic, on June 11 and 12, 2022 in its natural environment: the Paul Ricard circuit.

With dozens of entrants divided into two series, theEurope Endurance Classic is a European championship aiming to revive legendary machines on the most prestigious circuits of the old continent.

First of all, the “Vintage” series, allowing all classic racing machines built until 1989, with a cylinder capacity greater than or equal to 600cc. This series will itself be divided into five categories.

First of all, the “Classic” (white background plate), brings together machines from 1968 to 1981, such as the BMW R75-5 from 1973, the BSA Rocket 3 or the Moto Guzzi Le Mans II and III. The “Maxi Classic” category (black plate background) will be littered with models with a displacement of up to 1299cc, produced from 1975 to 1984. You will delight in stylish and original machines like the Nico Bakker chassis with Yamaha FJ engines. -1100. Three other categories, “Formula”, “Open” and “Evo” will occur. The second series, called “Young Timer”, will bring together motorcycles produced from 1980 to 2001, itself divided into several categories, mainly focused on Superbike and Supersport.

As with every release, the Japauto will not fail to attract the attention of enthusiasts. The structure of Christian Vilaseca and Robert Assante has marked the history of endurance. The Honda importer won the Bol d'Or three times, in 1969 thanks to Rougerie/Urdich, but also afterwards with winged machines heavily modified for the occasion in 1972 and 1973. Until 1989, Japauto will have marked the history of endurance with a hot iron and is now part of the legend of the Bol d'Or.

The Honda RC30, also represented, has nothing to be ashamed of. Her incredible track record speaks for herself: victories in spades at the 24 Hours and the Bol d'Or, at the 8 Suzuka 1989 Hours and at the 24 Hours of Spa the same year. Steve Hislop broke the Tourist Trophy lap record in his hands while American Fred Merkel won the first two Superbike titles in history in 1988 and 1989.

This sleeve of theEurope Endurance Classic will not leave anyone indifferent.
