The brand midual is the work of'Olivier Midy. Passionate about mechanics since a young age, he learned in the family garage since his adolescence. At only 14 years old, he has already restored an old
Monet-Goyon.
After his years of study, he is now an engineer. But the passion has not left him: With his brother François, he devotes his free time to the creation of an engine architecture, the patent for which was filed in 1995. One thing leading to another, the project advances, evolves and transforms. into a prototype motorcycle: the Midual 900.

Presented in 1999, it has a flat twin cylinder which convinces those who have ridden it. For a “small” company like this, production is difficult. The Midual brand is experiencing completely legitimate difficulties given its ambition. However, Olivier and his teams are not giving up and are working on a new model. The exception is sought, both on the engine and the materials used for the finish. A great watch enthusiast, the founder wanted a beautiful, efficient and remarkable object.
La Midual Type 1 is shaking up the motorcycle world in 2016. If the “ 900 » looked like a relatively classic roadster, the new creation no longer has anything to do with it. It differs from the rest of the market by its engine, a 1036cc flat-twin mounted in the direction of the road and inclined by 25°. But beyond the technical aspect, the finishes are absolutely impressive.

The motorcycle is comparable to a true work of art. From the quality of materials to the smallest details, it is more reminiscent of a creation by Ettore Bugatti than of a simple motorcycle. The “frame” is just as crazy, a self-supporting double hull sand-cast in an aeronautical foundry.
In the motorcycling – or automobile – world, it is difficult to find this level of finish. Of course, refinement comes at a price:
