The Kawasaki rider, who crashed twice yesterday, was the fastest during the Superbike warm-up, ahead of his opponents Scott Redding and Toprak Razgatlioglu.

As usual, this Sunday began in Superbike with the warm-up, which offered the riders a final 15 minutes of riding in order to adjust their settings. It must be said that this last day on the Most circuit promises to be busy, with the Superpole Race due to take place a little later in the morning as well as Race 2 this afternoon.

These latest preparations were particularly important for Jonathan Rea who, despite his Superpole yesterday, made two errors, the last of which was clear during the first race on the Czech circuit. The conditions were with the drivers this time, after two first days of capricious weather, the drivers operating under bright sunshine ideal for challenging the time.

Redding in the game

And in this exercise, it was Scott Redding who was the most prominent. We left the Ducati rider yesterday somewhat annoyed by his skirmish with Toprak Razgatlioglu, which earned him a victory which would have been his first since Aragón.

It is clear that the night calmed things down, and the former MotoGP rider was able to get back to work to take first place in the session. The Englishman was only removed from his first place in the final moments by Rea, who really needed this boost of confidence to tackle the rest of the day in the best possible condition.

Razgatlioglu took third place ahead of Garrett Gerloff and Andrea Locatelli, which ensures the presence of three Yamahas in the top 5. Another sign of the progress of the Japanese manufacturer's machines this season.

Marvin Fritz finished in fifth place ahead of Michael Ruben Rinaldi, while Alex Lowes finished the session in eighth place, ahead of Leon Haslam and Michael van der Mark.
