The Superprestigio 2017 will take place on December 16 at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.

We have already known this for a while, Marc Marquez will not participate (see here) while Johann zarco will make his return after his first two participations in 2014.

But the Tech3 pilot will not be the only French representative, since fabio quartararo will defend the colors of one of the biggest teams present, Suzuki Grau, alongside Ferran Cardús, Ricky Cardús, Guillermo Cano, Max Serra and the Argentine driver Matías Lorenzato.

The young Nice native, thirteenth in the Moto2 Championship for his rookie season, who will therefore ride a Suzuki RM-Z 450, explains: “during the past two years, I was unable to participate due to several injuries, and now that I have the opportunity, I did not hesitate for a moment to participate. In other seasons I saw how my friend and teammate Ferran (Cardús) was very fast, and at the same time I find that it's a bike that I really like. I hope he (Ferran) will teach me a little more before the race and that we can fight up front in Barcelona. »

To do this, he will be able to take advantage of the free training sessions organized by the circuits of Albi (December 6, 7 and 9), Castellnou (December 10), Rufea (December 11 to 14) and Palau Sant Jordi (December 15).

On the tricolor side, are therefore expected on the track Johann zarcoLucas Mahias and Fabio Quartararo, which has Tom Chareyre, Sylvain BidartVincent Philippe et Gregg Black. For now…
