Le Superprestigio taking place at a truly frenetic pace, it is perhaps not useless to look before the event at how it unfolds, especially since the organization is quite complex.
All drivers are divided into two categories, Superprestigio et Open, who will only meet during the Superfinal.
Each category includes three groups (A, B, C) of eight drivers who will first decide during two qualifying rounds. At the end of these, the first 2 are qualified for the final of their category, the last is definitively eliminated, the others go through the repechage.
The final of a category, Superprestigio or Open, includes eight drivers who compete in three rounds. At the end of these, the first four are selected for the Superfinal.
We therefore obtain 4 drivers from the Superprestigio category and 4 drivers from the Open category who will compete in a single 16-lap race.
Honestly, if this is not very clear to you, it is quite normal, especially since the allocation of points varies according to the races, the best of those eliminated is in fact drafted, and all this takes place at a speed such that it is impossible to make the slightest calculation...
In short, once the first race starts (at 18:30 p.m.), it's just a matter of opening your eyes to appreciate the drivers' slips, until the Superfinal which will take place at 21:11 p.m. (see timetables below).
