Manuel Gonzalez (ParkinGO Team) took pole position in 2'06.938 ahead of Galang Hendra Pratama (Semakin Di Depan Biblion Motoxracing) by only 0.020 seconds. Frenchman Hugo De Cancellis (Team Trasimeno) completed the front row, from Group A, as the competitors were divided into two groups (plus a repechage race).

The top ten were Manuel Gonzalez – (ParkinGO Team), Galang Hendra Pratama – (Semakin Di Depan Biblion Motoxracing), Hugo De Cancellis – (Team Trasimeno), Marc Luna Bayen – (Kawasaki GP Project), Andy Verdoïa – (BCD Yamaha MS Racing), Guillem Erill – (Deza – Box 77 Racing), Mateo Pedeneau – (Team MHP Racing), Victor Steeman – (Freudenberg KTM Junior Team), Jan-Ole Jahnig – (Freudenberg KTM Junior Team) and Bruno Ieraci (Kawasaki GP Project). For his part, Enzo de la Vega started from the last row due to insufficient tire pressure (according to the organizers).

The first race of the season was underway:

36 drivers set off for 11 laps, with Gonzalez in the lead ahead of Hendra Pratama, Steeman, de Cancellis, Jahnig and Verdoïa, therefore two French people in the first 6. Ana Carrasco, reigning World Champion, was in ninth position.

Marc Luna Bayen fell without seriousness at home (he is Spanish) while eight drivers fought fervently at the front, grouped in less than 7 tenths.

Steeman took command ahead of Cancellis, who overtook him shortly after. Laurent Fellon's student was in great shape. Jahnig went first, but de Cancellis regained the lead of the race.

With the long straight, the positions logically changed constantly. Gonzalez returned to first, ahead of Steeman, Keppler, de Cancellis, Jahnig, Verdoïa, Carrasco and Deroue.

De Cancellis took the lead at the halfway mark at the end of the straight, but ceded first position to Gonzalez. The first 9 drivers were within a second of each other. Ana Carrasco, reigning Champion, fell without seriousness.

Bonoli passed Jahnig, closely followed by Steeman, de Cancellis, Gonzalez, Deroue and Verdoïa. It was in this group of 7 that we had to look for the winner, because the eighth Ieraci was 3 seconds behind three laps from the checkered flag.

De Cancellis took the lead with two laps remaining, with six opponents stuck to his rear wheel. At the end of a very spectacular race, Gonzalez won ahead of Cancellis, Deroue, Jahnig and Verdoïa. Mateo Pedeneau finished 12th and Joseph Foray 27th. Enzo de la Vega was unranked.
