A first Supersport 300 race took place this Saturday, June 8 at 17 p.m. while the second will take place on Sunday at 15:15 p.m. These award all points in the Championship ranking.

Two SSP 300 races are on the program this weekend because according to Gregorio Lavilla, executive and sporting director of WorldSBK: “ Due to the weather conditions which affected the WorldSSP300 drivers at Assen and Imola, DWO considered it important to give these young drivers the opportunity to continue sharpening their skills and minimize the consequences of the latest twists of fate ».

The starting grid consisted of Victor Steeman (Freudenberg KTM Junior Team), Marc Garcia (DS Junior Team), Galang Hendra Pratama (Semakin Di Depan Biblion Motoxracing), Manuel Gonzalez (Kawasaki ParkinGO Team), Ana Carrasco (Kawasaki Provec WorldSSP300), Andy Verdoïa (BCD Yamaha MS Racing), Omar Bonoli (Team Trasimeno Yamaha), Mateo Pedeneau (Team MHP Racing-Patrick Pons), Koen Meufells (Freudenberg KTM Junior Team) and Hugo De Cancellis (Team Trasimeno Yamaha).

Furthermore, at the end of the "last chance" race, Borja Sanchez (Scuderia Maranga Racing) qualified for the back of the grid, on the last two rows, with Bruno Ieraci (Kawasaki GP Project), Alejandro Carrión (Deza – Box 77 Racing) and his teammate Guillem Erill, along with Kevin Sabatucci (Team Trasimeno Yamaha) and Yuta Okaya (DS Junior Team). These six drivers took part in the first race which took place this Saturday at 17:00 p.m. and that of Sunday, scheduled for 15:15 p.m.

When the lights went out, the fastest to set off was Victor Steeman (Freudenberg KTM Junior Team) ahead of Galang Hendra Pratama (Semakin Di Depan Biblion Motoxracing), Manuel Gonzalez (Kawasaki ParkinGO Team), Marc Garcia (DS Junior Team ) and Ana Carrasco (Kawasaki Provec WorldSSP300). The French drivers started averagely, with Hugo De Cancellis tenth, Andy Verdoïa eleventh, Mateo Pedeneau twelfth and Enzo de la Vega fifteenth.

Hendra Pratama took the lead ahead of Steeman, Carrasco, Garcia and Gonzalez. Ana Carrasco, the reigning World Champion, attacked brilliantly to take second place from Steeman, but she was overtaken by Marc Garcia. Hendra Pratama retained command ahead of Garcia, Carrasco, Steeman, Deroue and Gonzalez. De Cancellis went 9th, Verdoïa 13th, de la Vega 15th and Pedeneau 16th.

Hendra Pratama was hit from behind by Carrasco (without a fall) but Garcia took advantage of the opportunity to take the lead ahead of Jahnig, Steeman, Gonzalez, Deroue and Hendra Pratama. At the halfway mark, the top 12 stood in 1.8.

With 5 laps to go, Garcia was ahead of a well-recovered Hendra Pratama, Steeman, Gonzalez and Deroue. De Cancellis was 11th just ahead of Verdoïa, Pedeneau 14th just ahead of de la Vega.

Steeman managed to build a small advantage, but he misfired under braking and Gonzalez replaced him in the lead, with Hendra Pratama third. With 2 laps remaining, Hendra Pratama preceded Gonzalez and Steeman, while de Cancellis was 7th, Verdoïa 10th, Pedeneau 14th and de la Vega 17th.

Carrasco took the lead, then Hendra Pratama overtook her, followed by Deroue, Garcia and Gonzalez. Garcia finally won ahead of Deroue, Carrasco, Gonzalez, Verdoïa and Hendra Pratama. De Cancellis finished 8th, Pedeneau 13th and de la Vega 14th.
