The Italian driver was the fastest during the warm up, ahead of championship leader Dominique Aegerter and Randy Krummenacher.

The Supersport also began its last day of competition on the Navarre circuit, in the North of Spain, with the warm-up which allowed the various competitors in the category to prepare well for Race 2. which will be held at 12:30 p.m.

The session briefly interrupted

Several drivers took the lead, like Can Öncü, quickly caught up by Federico Caricasulo then Dominique Aegerter. But the hostilities were interrupted after around ten minutes of driving following Stéphane Frossard's big exit from the track.

If the Swiss was able to get up without too much damage (he was still taken care of by the medical team, who hastened to put a cervical collar on him), his machine, on the other hand, left a lot of debris on the tarmac, thus making the track conditions impassable.

The session was nevertheless able to resume shortly after, Caricasulo making a final time progression to take the lead, ahead of Aegerter and Randy Krummenacher. Raffaele de Rosa and Steven Odendaal complete the top 5, while Philipp Öttl and Frenchman Jules Cluzel follow behind in sixth and seventh positions.
