The wildcard supported by GMT94, Yamaha France and the FFM will now be awarded in the brand new category WORLD SPORTBIKE (700 cc)A major development that opens a new springboard to the world elite.
The leader of Yamaha Challenge 700 Championship, at the end of the 5th round organized at Val de Viennewill win the privilege of starting the French round of the World Championship on a Yamaha R7, prepared and undertaken by GMT94.

“The arrival of the new World Sportbike category in 2026 in the World Superbike Championship represents an opportunity for our young talents. We must seize it fully. The FFM will be alongside GMT94 to offer this wildcard entry in a category perfectly aligned with the Yamaha Challenge 700 launched in 2025 in the FSBK. In Supersport, the Federation will continue its efforts to support our best riders on their international journey. We have harmonized the FSBK regulations with those of World Supersport.
