If the vast majority of Tavullia residents are proud and happy to be home to Valentino Rossi, this is not the case for a handful of 3 neighbors of the famous MotoRanch who find the dirt circuit far too noisy for their liking (see here).

The latter therefore lodged an appeal with the Regional Administrative Court who has just considered the latter as “partially unrealizablepartly inadmissible and partly rejected", mainly due to a lack of precise documentation to support the complaint.

The judges of the TAR, Maddalena Filippi, Gianluca Morri and Tommaso Capitanio, also explain in a 19-page report that the company which manages the circuit has not committed any wrongdoing concerning the building permit, that even the absence of " VIA”, normally obligatory paper, could be justified due to the nature of the project and the favorable opinion of the province and the municipality. Finally, neither the operating hours nor the noise level were considered to exceed the imposed limits.

The TAR having thus concretely rejected the complainants, all they have to do is turn to the Council of State if they want to continue their approach...
