The information can be taken on two levels. On that of technique of course, but also on the very fact of filing a patent concerning a competition motorcycle, in order to prevent its opponents from using the same technological solution, as had been done Ducati with its “reaction” exhaust...

In the present case, this solution only concerns the lower fairing which, by “digging” a central tunnel in its longitudinal axis, is supposed to reduce the aerodynamic resistance of the rear wheel while providing more stability to the motorcycle.

Different heights of this depression tunnel can be adopted depending on the circuits.
