On the program for Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa, the three new Michelin front tires, of course, but also wings, lots of wings, and a new swingarm, to try to regain some of the traction that the Honda lacks .

Marc Marquez was the fastest of the day, in conditions similar to those of the Grand Prix, which made for interesting comparisons.

Marc Marquez, 1st, 1'39.313, 91 laps: “we are happy with this day because we tried many things. We not only tried new fins and a new swingarm, but we also did a lot of laps trying to understand different settings. For spectators, the most striking thing was our triplane fins. The aerodynamic field presents untapped potential; now that this is launched we can work a lot on this area as it seems there is no limit to what you can do with it.
We also tried three different front tires today, but the one we used for the race worked well too.”

Dani Pedrosa, 5th, 1'39.646, 76 laps: “today, we mainly worked to improve the feeling we had during the race yesterday. It was a strange day because the weather was fantastic and the asphalt had excellent grip, but the times were not that different from those we saw during the Grand Prix weekend.
We tried different suspension options and found a few solutions that allowed us to have more grip when exiting corners. We also worked on corner entries, trying to make the bike faster in both fast corners and slower corner entries.
Finally, we tried the three new front tires and one of them was clearly better than what we have now, which is positive.”
