After one first day spent in the box because of a not optimal track, the Repsol Honda riders made the decision to ride today on the Jjerez de la Frontera track to carry out their private test.

This afternoon, Marc suffered a fall at turn #7 and temporarily dislocated his right shoulder. A check at the circuit's medical center showed no further damage.

However, this is not the first time that the Honda rider has experienced problems with his shoulder(s), since the following list can already be drawn up:
– 2010: Jerez (right)
– 2010: Brno (left)
– 2013: Silverstone (left)
– 2016: Red Bull Ring (left)
– 2016: Aragon (left)
– 2017: Jerez Test (right)

Marc Marquez : “It was a productive day because we were able to do a lot of laps and work well on our bike. We've done most of the work we planned, which is good. I fell this afternoon and dislocated my shoulder but luckily it was nothing serious. Now I will take some rest at home and prepare for the next test in Qatar.”

Dani Pedrosa: “After skipping yesterday, we were fortunately able to make full use of the time available today, although the track conditions were not ideal in the morning and we had to concentrate our entire testing program into a single day . We worked very hard, but we are happy with what we did here. Now we have to stay focused and try and continue the same way in Qatar in two weeks. “
