The Moto2 and Moto3 riders were back in action after the Austrian Grand Prix to prepare for the upcoming events. Simone Corsi was also present.

As soon as the Austrian Grand Prix finished, the Spielberg circuit organized a test day for the two minor categories of the World Championship. There were 23 Moto2 riders present, and only 6 Moto3 riders in action on the Austrian track. A sunny Monday welcomed the protagonists of these tests, all engaged in the search for improvements in view of the next GP.

For the category Moto2, the winner of the GP Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Ajo) was not missing, as was his teammate Jorge Martín. The South African tried a new aerodynamic profile, while the Spanish rookie tried a new front air intake. An aspect also tested by the Tech 3 driver Marco Bezzecchi, who tried the new KTM that appeared in Brno.

As for the Austrian manufacturer's other drivers, American Team rode with its two drivers, although Iker Lecuona experienced some problems at the start of the day.

Also among those present was the leader of the world Alex Marquez (EG 0.0 Marc VDS), who tried an evolution of the chassis of his Kalex for 2020.

Thomas Lüthi et Marcel Schrötter (Dynavolt Intact GP) were also in action, notably on the settings after a difficult weekend.

The same was true for Sam Lowes (Federal Oil Gresini Moto2), who crashed again in the race. The two flag bearers of Sky Racing Team VR46 were also very active, whileEnea Bastianini (Italtrans Racing Team) was not seen, probably following his accident in the race with Luca marini.

Lots of work also at Speed ​​Up, with Jorge Navarro et Fabio DiGiannantonio who tried a new fairing. Also on the track was Simone Courses, who tested the NTS of Steven Odendaal, while the latter tested his colleague's motorcycle Will Bendsneyder. Comparison and tuning work for the South African, while the Italian was present to try to give the driver and team a helping hand. There was also the MV Agusta Forward team, who are working hard on the development of the bike. Tire testing for some riders: a new front compound was tested for 2020.

Now let's move on to the category Moto3.
Celestine Vietti (Sky Racing Team VR46) has done intense work on the 2020 KTM, probably the only one in action for this purpose. The new motorcycle was equipped with a carbon fairing. Can Öncü (Red Bull KTM Ajo) worked a lot on the 2019 bike, aiming to achieve better results in the upcoming races. Prüstel GP with a transformed team: Jason dupasquier, CEV Moto3 rider, accompanied Jakub Kornfeil for his debut on a world championship motorcycle. Conversely, BOE Skull Rider Mugen Race put its official duo on track, Kazuki Masaki et Makar Yurchenko (7th in Austria, his best result at the World Championship).

The work is finished, there will now be a short break before resuming work. In two weeks' time, the British Grand Prix will take place on a circuit that has been completely remodeled after problems with the 2019 edition led to a major cancellation.
