Two days in Valencia, three days in Sepang, and Johann Zarco is already within the same half-second as the big names in the category: the least we can say is that the Tech3 driver is quickly acclimating to the MotoGP, yet very different from Moto2.

However, as pointed out by Hervé Poncharal, no desire to make a splash by taking risks but, on the contrary, the application of a work plan that is ultimately quite simple: roll, roll and roll.

However, there is no doubt that the French rider's objectives are high, even if to achieve them, it will be necessary to work a lot, including on a physical level, as the double Moto2 World Champion himself frankly admits.

Johann zarco, 11th at 0.404: “ we finished the test in a positive way and I am happy with what we managed to accomplish in Malaysia, although it was necessary to give my body a little rest today because of the energy that I had spent in the past two days. In the morning we just tried to run a few good lap times when the temperatures were low, then the plan was to do a series of regular laps in a race simulation, and although I couldn't completely finish that, I m I'm close to it.

On this occasion, I relaxed more on the bike but then I had to wait until the afternoon because of the limited number of tires and I didn't want to attack too much on the old tires and risk what whether it be. When we put the last new tire on at the end of the session, I was able to go under the two-minute mark and I'm happy with that because it was a goal for me. We can see a lot of riders have done it too but I'm one of them so I'm obviously happy, and I'm now curious to see what we can do at Phillip Island."
