As we told you indicated this morning, the first day of the MotoGP test was disrupted by overnight rain. And if the new asphalt turned out to be particularly smooth and without bumps, a reservation is made about the new water drainage system.

Indeed, Michele Pirro explained to our colleagues GPone that in two or three places, the track could not dry completely because water was seeping from the ground beneath the asphalt.

Let's see how what could be a big problem (it rains almost every end of the day in Malaysia!) will evolve tomorrow for the last day of these tests.

Michele Pirro nevertheless endeavored to complete around fifty laps, the fastest of which was 2'03 (compared to the record of 1'59.053 established by Dani Pedrosa in 2015), while completing long runs to put the test the tires provided by Michelin for this route.
