Several Moto3 World Championship teams completed their first day of testing, out of a total of three, in order to prepare for the official IRTA tests which will take place on this same circuit from March 8 to 10. They were joined by several teams from the CEV and CIV Championships.

There were a total of 26 riders present in the Moto3 and Moto2 categories, while 35 are scheduled for this Tuesday and 32 for Wednesday. This first day in Moto3 included the Cadiz rider Marcos Ramirez in the ranks of the Platinum Bay team, as well as the RBA team with the Spaniard Juanfran Guevara and Gabriel Rodrigo, as well as the Leopard team with Joan Mir and Livio Loi who started his test day at the start of the session which welcomed the drivers from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m.

Ajo Motorsport ran Niccolo Antonelli and Bo Bendsneyder, CIP Marco Bezzecchi and Manuel Pagliani, and Aspar team Albert Arenas and Lorenzo Dalla Porta. The Spanish team Monlau was also present with the Spaniard Aron Canet and the Italian Enea Bastianini and prepared the bikes in the pits for tomorrow's day.

As for timings, the Jerez Circuit reported that there would be none, the RBA team which rented the track not having requested a timing service.
