The second of three days of testing took place this Tuesday with favorable weather. As the RBA team renting the circuit chose not to require a timing service, no official times were available. 35 riders competed in the Moto3 and Moto2 categories.

Among the 11 falls, all fortunately not serious, were those of Leopard Racing drivers Joan Mir and Livio Loi. There was no lack of entertainment, which delighted the many spectators present in the free stand.

Some of the Moto3 teams rode last week, the other is doing so currently. Here are some pilot reactions recorded over the entire two weeks.

Nicholas Bulega : " My feelings on the bike were better than in Valencia. We did a good job. My pace was fast and I want to continue this way. »

Maria Herrera : " I am very satisfied with my new team and my bike. It's very different because the chassis (editor’s note: KTM / Team AGR) is better than last year's (editor’s note: KTM / Team MH6). I need to improve in fast turns because the front tends to slip away."

Joan mir : " I am very happy with the test day, we worked well and we tried some interesting solutions. Too bad we couldn't hit the trail on the second day due to poor conditions. This would not have allowed us to draw any conclusions. We prefer to work in the pit and better prepare ourselves for the next test. There is still work to do, but I am sure I can improve. »

Livio Law : " We are really satisfied, we tried different things, so much so that at the end of the first day we made a big step forward compared to the first ride of the morning. I feel more and more in tune with the team, I am sure that from now on we will be able to do better, because the direction taken is the right one. »

Enea Bastianini : " The first day we were able to work on different tuning solutions, but around 14 p.m. the wind was very strong and we had to stop. In the afternoon we returned to the track and did a lot of laps, but we didn't find a good compromise with the configuration that would have allowed me to ride comfortably. On the second day, the conditions were not good, so we couldn't finish the work we had planned, which was to test all the setting options that we had pending since the last test in Valencia. »

Aron canet : " On the first day we were able to ride a little but, although the asphalt temperature was good, the wind did not allow me to ride comfortably, so I struggled to improve my time. Apart from that, we were able to advance the tuning of the Honda and we drew very valuable conclusions for the first IRTA test, which will take place at this track. This circuit is not one of my favorites, and the fact that I have a better pace every time I ride here motivates me a lot. »
