While the Moto2 and Moto3 riders have been in Jerez since yesterday for three days of testing, the rain has decided to compromise the end of the pre-season by not letting everyone run.

This time they are the Moto3 who opened the day. Unfortunately, and while the sun was out, very few of them made it to the track, still wet from the rain but drying in certain places, the worst conditions for riding.

Test March 2018 J.3

However, Andrea Migno (Ángel Nieto Team) was the most reckless and went out to shoot for around twenty minutes. Tony Arbolino (Marinelli Snipers Team) imitated him in the middle of the session, and the two drivers finally completed seventeen laps with times which were, obviously, not significant due to the track conditions. Kaito Toba (Honda Team Asia) completed three laps at the start of the session, but quickly returned to the box and never came out again.

With ten minutes to go, nine drivers went out to spin for a few laps, but the session was ultimately lost for most.

Rain is forecast for around 16 p.m., let's hope that the drivers can benefit from at least one full session!

The pilots Moto2 were, like yesterday, more lucky than their Moto3 colleagues. Indeed, although at the start the track was not yet in optimal conditions, we only had to wait ten minutes to see the drivers exit.

Francis Bagnaia (SKY Racing Team VR46) once again opened the ball, followed shortly after by his teammate Luca marini as well as by Dominique Aegerter (Kiefer Racing), themselves joined by Andrea Locatelli (Italtrans Racing Team) and Stefano manzi (Forward Racing Team).

Halfway through the session, half the field was on the track, and around twenty minutes before the end, everyone was spinning, except Isaac Viñales (SAGTeam).

The two teammates of the Swiss Innovative Investors team, Sam Lowes et Iker Lecuona, alternated a lot at the top of the ranking, but it was the latter who had the upper hand. He was then robbed of first place by Francesco Bagnaia in great form, but it was ultimately the Spaniard who won over the Italian by only six thousandths!

They are followed by Alex Marquez (EG 0.0 Marc VDS), who finished third. Bagnaia's teammates, Luca marini, and from Lecuona, Sam Lowes finish fourth and fifth, three tenths behind. Behind them is the Red Bull KTM pair Ajo, Brad Binder et Miguel Oliveira.

In eighth position, Xavi Verge (Dynavolt Intact GP) confirms its good first day yesterday, while behind us we note good progress from the Speed Up Racing duo, Danny Kent et fabio quartararo, both entering the top 10.
