Despite a fairly strong wind and fairly cool weather in the morning, several teams from the Moto2 and Moto3 World Championships met at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit to carry out a two-day private test session.

In Moto2, among the planned participants was not included Brad Binder, injured his left arm during private tests in Valencia. He had been operated on by Doctor Xavier Mir who then explained: “ Brad Binder suffered a fractured left radius and dislocated ulna at the wrist, an injury better known as Galeazzi Fracture. Concerning the radius, it was very displaced. We therefore had to install a plate accompanied by seven screws. By doing this, the ulna is also put back into place. He has a small injury to the interosseous membrane, which is expected to delay the recovery process very slightly. But his forearm should be completely healed within four to five weeks.” Ricky Cardus replaced him for these tests.

On the other hand, the Paginas Amarillas HP 40 team was present with its Kalex for fabio quartararo et Edgar Pons. Red Bull KTM Ajo developed his KTMs with Miguel Oliveira and therefore Ricky Cardus. Dynavolt Intact GP lined up its new Suters for Marcel schrotter et Sandro Cortese, while RW Racing GP ran a Kalex Axel Pons.

Not all machines were equipped with transponders. Miguel Oliveira was the fastest among those who had it, ahead of Fabio Quartararo. Behind the KTM and the Kalex, Marcel Schrotter ranked the new Suter in third position.
