The private MotoGP testing that took place after the San Marino Grand Prix has now ended.

On Monday, the track remained dry for only two hours in the morning, and we could see spinning Alex Espargaro on the Aprilia RS-GP, as well as Hiroshi Aoyama on a 213 Honda RC2018V prototype (see here).

The afternoon, Sylvain Guintoli, just back from his British Superbike round, rode the Suzuki GSX-RR.

Tuesday morning, contrary to forecasts which predicted another day of rain, a strong wind had chased away all the clouds. This allowed Hiroshi Aoyama to continue his work, quickly joined by the two KTMs of Pol Espargaro et Bradley Smith.

At Suzuki, we saw clearly alex rins take a tour of the circuit on a scooter but it's once again Sylvain Guintoli who was responsible for running Hamamatsu's machine. During these first runs, his GSX-RR seemed to be equipped with Go Pro-style cameras, which probably bodes well for a video to be released soon.

Aprilia was apparently no longer involved.

The wind was really strong and probably hampered the pilots. Before leaving the circuit at 13 p.m., we saw Hiroshi Aoyama braking several times, and Pol Espargaro shooting straight on numerous occasions.

Sylvain Guintoli is the one who appeared the most consistent, ahead of Hiroshi Aoyama.

A little video shot from afar (access prohibited) and with the means at hand (including a telephone), just for the sound…
