From today, until the end of the month, the attention of Grand Prix enthusiasts is focused on the Jerez de la Frontera circuit, in the south of Spain, for a series of tests concerning the MotoGP, Superbike, Moto2 and MotoE categories.

This morning, Moto2 and MotoE return to the track for 3 days, which will undoubtedly not be too much for these two categories which constitute a real novelty.

En Moto2, the teams received their new chassis yesterday to mount the 3 c 765-cylinder Triumph engine as well as the brand new Magneti Marelli electronics, the inertial unit of which is the same as that mandatory in MotoGP in 2019.

En MotoE, the Italian firm Energica delivered 12 Ego electric motorcycles for the 12 teams registered in the electric formula, while 18 pilots will participate in the 5 races that the 2019 season will include (see here). As we announced, the bikes are currently black and numbered from 1 to 12, depending on the teams. Michelin tires are category specific, but derived from MotoGP for the front (strong constraints due to weight) and Superbike for the rear (moderate power). It seems that, thanks to a mobile cart, we are moving towards recharging the batteries on the starting grid, after the reconnaissance lap...

On November 26 and 27, it will be the turn of Superbike to come and calibrate themselves on the Andalusian bitumen, before the MotoGP conclude the 2018 driving period, from 9:30 a.m. to 17:30 p.m. on the 28th and 29th of the same month.
