In Qatar, there was a Grand Prix, the highlight of which was a Moto2 which, like Moto3 but unlike MotoGP, was able to launch its season. Tetsuta Nagashima was the first winner of the year, an achievement by the Japanese driver newly installed in the Ajo team which surprised. Even if his value was recognized, we imagined him more as second to Jorge Martin, his teammate. But Japanese sake seems to go perfectly with Finnish Salmiakki Kossu, which promises us an interesting cocktail for the rest of the festivities...

Tetsuta nagashima is now among the Grand Prix winners. A milestone passed at Qatar which is never trivial: “ it was a very important victory for me, because it was a big step towards realizing my dream: entering MotoGP. It was very exciting and very emotional to arrive on the top step of the podium, and I am very happy about it. »

« At that moment, all I could do was scream. Before crossing the finish line, I couldn't think of anything, my mind was blank. However, once the race was over, I was filled with immense happiness. I had never felt what I felt then. I was so exhilarated I kept screaming into my helmet » adds the one who paid tribute to Shoya Tomizawa on this special occasion.

It will be noted that the Japanese spoke of MotoGP in his comment, an assurance that his new environment now allows him to claim: “ the team is amazing, they work hard and they are very professional. A lot of riders have ridden for Red Bull KTM Ajo, several of whom have become champions, so being here is a big step for me. I feel very comfortable with all members of the teame. »

Then he insists: “ it was the team's advice that helped me keep calm and win the race. Aki Ajo is very important, because he has a lot of experience in developing new talents. If I follow his advice, I know I can become a great pilot. I trust him and I will try to continue growing by taking advantage of everything he shows me. »

Waiting, Tetsuta nagashima returned to his native Japan as the campaign Moto2 takes an unexpected break: “ I have a house in Japan where I live with my wife and children. It's a bit noisy because the kids play all the time, but I like it, because I don't know how I would live without them. It also helps me disconnect from running, which is good because if you overthink something, it ends up putting extra pressure on you. For me, being with my family helps me relax and get away from it all. »
