It was announced and it made its appearance on this first day of testing in Buriram in Thailand.
This is a new fairing to try for the official Ducati, which presents fins (we use the word deliberately) less developed than on the 2017 version but apparently more sophisticated, using the same principle as on the Yamaha, in however more massive.
This receding return towards the bottom fairing of these fins undoubtedly makes it possible to penalize the machine less at top speed by reducing drag.
The aerodynamic appendages do not stop there, however, since we can also observe a lower fairing presenting two protuberances in the vertical plane.
